What Obama's Platform of Change Really Means

obama in front of a change sign, againI don't know about you, but I hate change.  I hate it with a passion that is only rivaled by my repulsion at the sight of the Backstreet Boys.  Change, to me, means that I have to figure out how to do something that I've been doing for quite some time, and now come up with a way of doing it differently - wow, how fun!  So when a presidential candidate like Barack Obama comes preaching that he's going to bring change, all I can do is cringe and wonder "what does he mean?"

My first inclination is to believe that Barack Obama, the arbiter of change, seeks to de-stabilize everyday human life.  It is likely that if he were to be elected to office we would be forced to report our actions daily to a bureaucratic office dedicated to making sure that all citizens randomize everything they do.  Imagine, waking up to a nice breakfast with your family will be a thing of the past; rather, you will be forced to wake up for lunch, or even dinner.  You're work schedule will fluctuate, and those weekly stand-up meetings you hate may occur 3 days one week, and 5 the next.  Oh, and don't get me started on bathroom hygiene, it's just nasty.

Now, Obama says this change that he is promoting is a "change that we can believe in."  Can you say nationalized religion!?   If elected, Barack Obama will require that everyone submit themselves absolutely to this abstract god of change - sacrificing their comfort, money, and ultimately their lives to this fluctuating deity.  Eventually, all non-changean (a term I've coined) churches will be razed and Obama's cult of change will build mobile changean houses of worship that will move to different locations every week within their district, making sure that everyone is progressively changing at least once a week.

I could go on with the horrors that await all Americans should Obama be elected, but it's too much to even write extensively about.  Now, you might be asking yourself "how does Steve Hartman, award-winning author and publisher, know this is going to happen?"  Well, aside from being a journalist with over 20-years of experience and numerous awards, I am also a philosophy buff.  Logic, people, is what allows me to see the future Obama presidency so clearly.  Be prepared, and plan your weeks ahead of time so that you will always be randomizing everything you do.  Don't say that I didn't warn you.

Steve Hartman is a speaker, writer, and author of several best-selling books such as Why America is Better Than Yours and Politics and You: Why the Two Don't Mix.
