What is Agnus Daily?

Agnus Daily is a Catholic based satirical newspaper that pokes fun at just about anything.  Funny most of the time, and reverent all the time, we aim to make light of things that go on in and out of the Church.

Are you really Catholic?

Yes, we are 100% Magisterium following faithful Catholics.  We will never publish anything that is against Church teaching.  However, we will enjoy a few laughs at some of the quirks that are inherent in the faith.

I thought devout Catholics weren't supposed to be funny.

That's not really a question, but just because Catholics are supposed to be devout it doesn't mean that they cannot be funny.  Everybody needs to laugh in order to remain sane.  That being the case, Catholics - since they are human -  have to have a sense of humor.

Aren't you being irreverent when you make fun of the Church?

No.  Being irreverent means that we are deriding the Church in some way.  We are not necessarily "making fun of the Church", we are bringing to light its quirks through satirical comedy.

Where have you guys been?  You were gone for over a year!

I'm not sure what you mean.  We've always been your #1 source for Catholic news.  It's most likely user error or something was wrong with your computer.  You should get that checked out as soon as possible.
